Hi all,

Before arriving at this hostel we were feeling ready for a change of pace, something a little more relaxed, chilled out, with fewer people and a little more intimate. After trawling hostelworld we decided on La Banda Rooftop Hostel.

Upon entering the hostel we were eagerly greeted by two young gentlemen. We explained to them that we were keen for a change of pace, somewhere we could just relax for the day/night before we left Seville the next day. After hearing this they offered to move us into a 4 bedroom dorm (we booked a 10 bedroom dorm), which we happily accepted. From this point on the rest of our experience at the hostel was fantastic. The guys were extremely friendly, willing to help us book the next leg of our journey, provide eating out recommendations and tourist recommendations. Furthermore, the hostel was relaxed as we had hoped, but you could also make the night a little bigger if you wanted to – a great mix.

Another great feature of the hostel was its well-resourced kitchen, providing you with everything required to whip up a home made meal. One of the best elements of the hostel was its rooftop terrace that overlooks one of the most beautiful buildings in Seville – The Cathedral. The terrace also has a bar with cheap sangria during happy hour. Additionally, the guys cook various meals each night which you can purchase at a reasonable price.

Overall, I had another great experience and I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Cost (approx.): Accommodation €12.30 per night, Sangria €0.50 (during happy hour), Dinner €6
